antz Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 right... the interior of my car is due for a freshen up. i was going to re-trim my front steats and the base of my back (already had the upright done)....BUT....there is always a but... i have some rather fetching corbeau buckets in my garage which i thought i could get trimmed in the same colour to to match the back seat. my dilema is: do i get the interior re-trimmed as it is. OR fit the buckets and get them trimmed. i just dont wanna get teh buckets done and the differnt seat patterns make it look gay. pics to help you decide: AS IT IS NOW: THE BUCKETS!: whats your opinion?
johnny_h Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 I don't think the buckets would suit the car in it's present original state.
bomber1 Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 unless ur got thr reclining buckets stay with the orignals
Rick Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 i think the ghias suit your car better than buckets would to be honest. ... forgot to take the pics of that blokes cars doh keep ojn to me il get it dun whoaaahhhhh IM getting a duck for my car
RUSTYPUP Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Your car is far more like a nice saloon car than a rally car. The ghia seats are cool and suit it.
Ratters Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 Ghia seats Antz Think of that sleeper look
antz Posted January 21, 2007 Author Report Posted January 21, 2007 i see your point everyone! i was just thijking about somethign that might hold me in better than a flat comfy seat looks like ill get teh ghia's retrimed and find soemthign else for the buckets
spooner Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 why not try 2 find a pair of sh1ty fish nets then trim them to match.
antz Posted January 21, 2007 Author Report Posted January 21, 2007 because i cant afford any the buckets were free cos the next door neighbour was gonna chuck them in teh bin so i asked politely for them if only i could get hold of an original beige rs2k interior
Mr Sam Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 theres enough concourse mexicos and what not but never seem to see many concourse lower models, id keep as is get another car for the buckets
antz Posted January 21, 2007 Author Report Posted January 21, 2007 its gonna look standard but go like hell when i get an engine
antz Posted January 21, 2007 Author Report Posted January 21, 2007 PROBLEM SOLVED! the ghia's stay! now just need to get in touch with the re-trimmer and find some replacement seats while mine are away deck chair?

escort new boy Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 my dad has a full fishnet trim in the shed that needs retrimmin in beige has he brought a complete trim for his car Pm me if ur interested
SAMMYBOY Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Got to be the ghia seats....Think the Escort agency had a black interior...Lot better. Mine was beige, i just put black rolltop seats in front, and covered the rear ones with a doggy protection cover thingy..
antz Posted January 22, 2007 Author Report Posted January 22, 2007 i like the beige its the only colour that suits the terracotta
Pipster007 Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 Keep it standard and re-trim the originals
james p Posted January 22, 2007 Report Posted January 22, 2007 can you not ask em to build up the bolsters and base when they retrim therefore giveing more support and keepin the sleeper alive
