XjamesX Posted July 14, 2011 Report Posted July 14, 2011 Hi, i'm new here, been interested in getting either a mk1 or mk2 escort for about 7 or 8 years now and have finally got myself one (a mk2). So i've been spending a bit more time on the internet looking for bits and pieces etc, insurance etc, so figured I should probably sign up for the board. Anyways yeah im 27, and based in the west midlands. While i'm hear typing I might as well ask, are the rubbers and seals any good from East Kent Trim supplies? I need to get and fit some door glass seal (I presume that is what i'm after, it's the seal on the outside bottom of the door windows???) Seems to be the only one it could be looking at the list. Also it has a long door glass seal on the site, which one will I need if I am buying it for a 2 door mk2? At some point i'll be looking to change the Rear Quarter Window Rubbers as well, so I wouldn't mind knowing if this stuff is any good (i'm sure it probably is) and how hard is it to get it to fit? Thanks in advance + would love to meet any mk1 or mk2 peep's in the midlands

Andy44Boz Posted July 16, 2011 Report Posted July 16, 2011 Welcome to OSF bud. Ive used East Kent before for my anglebox and although the rubbers weren't quite the same as the originals(technology i spose), they were good,and not bad price either
