Not cynical.

Imagine the amount of vehicle that would become eligible for free tax each year if you had a 30 year rolling limit.

Do you really think this shower of shite that is an excuse for government would not claw it back elsewhere ????

It's no more than a carrot dangling on an end of a stick for us donkey's to hope for, but never receive.

Motorist are the lowest of the low, to this bunch of robbers.

But by all means sign up, I don't think any of the other petitions have ever got very far.

Re your first point, it was this "bunch of robbers" that created the taxation class Historic Vehicle in the first place and Gordon "short arms deep pockets" Brown that canned it as soon they got in power.

Re your second point I also doubt it will get anywhere in this age of austerity.

Nope, and also if it gets a certain amount of signatures it has to be considered in parliament - don't ask don't get...

....Is the wrong answer. The website clearly says its "eligible for discussion", doesn't say it will be. Its all in the wording. The Conservatives aren't that silly.

just sign it, then get a couple of mates to sign it, before you know it the numbers build.

Looking good for the Liverpool fans using the same website/method

I posted this too, and would just like to add that, if it is ever to be reinstated, it would be less of a blow to the govts income if it was sooner rather than later. Every year that passes means another set of vehicles become legible.
