If you bin a Volvo you can get another one for a few hundred quid, Renault motors are cheap as chips on Flea-bay and plentiful.

 

It's likely I'd bin it regularly as I'd have to wear a bag over my head every time I went out in it, and they're a little hard to see through.

 

I hear what you're saying but would still rather have the Escort.

 

Oh and if you you want big power RWD action, isn't it easier just to buy a Nissan 200sx? 200bhp RWD straight away, well equipped and not much more money then you're talking about, plus you haven't got all the aggro of eBay and engine swaps etc.

Ive driven one of them volvo's, think it had a 1700 in, nippy enough and twitchy on the rear too!

 

There are other cool cars out there, that aren't fords! And everyone could do with some cheap drift practice!
