Admin Vista Posted January 26, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 26, 2007 Don't much like Tatts myself (I'm in the minority on that score as many sailors are covered in them) but have seen some really crap ones done when the owner was seriously under the influence. A friend of mine had one of the pathetic sharks from Viz done on his chest, it was swilling from a pint pot and had drinks like a fish underneath it he had a few other daft ones too, like a large worm crawling out of his belly button and Micky Mouse on his shoulder. I'll never understand why sailors are tempted to get Tatts when they're shit faced. I was alongside in Singapore at the same time as a German warship about 10 years ago, a group of them came out with us and got totally crappers. One of them ended up in a tattoo parlour with a few of us (I'd gone by then) the poor bugger ended up with a Union Jack on his back after the British crew bribed the tattoer (sp?) to lie about what he was doing. Not sure whether to laugh or feel guilty
