mk2cortinadan Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 anyone help me? ive tried without success to get a copy of the harris"s book,waterstones at bluewater reckon they cant get it and totally unhelpful at whsmith perhaps if i wanted a book by that twat jamie oliver i woulda got it there!! so where do i get it???

Admin Mk2Jo Posted January 13, 2012 Admin Report Posted January 13, 2012 WITH RESPECT: Isn't it funny though ... until I joined OSF I had never heard of the Harris's and yet the book says they have "become one of Britain's most formidable, respected and intimidating families" almost like the Kray's I should add that I have mucho respect for their engine building reputation since learning about them and have met Ron, Andy, Jeff and their respective families and they have always been very nice to me but this is quite a claim .... if you are not within the Classic Ford Scene or living in South London then they are not known I guess that is artistic licence for you Anyway, I cannot comment further as I have not seen the book but I am sure it will be of interest to a good number of readers and if the sales are good then there must be the interest although I would be a little worried if the police comment above is true
jas Posted January 13, 2012 Report Posted January 13, 2012 so the police r looking into whats in the book after all this time but can not finger print banarama car and try and cut down on whats going on today,im from wallington and got tosay when one of the harris went passed u always got a wave or had a chat about cars etc,its how it was back then,the police hated anyone in a done up escort,or should i say old ford, sutton police were really bad for it,
