I have a 1972 1300GT Mk1 Escort. Been replacing bits and bobs over the last two, or three years. Had the car just over four years I think. It's been off the road most of that time. I can handle the mechanics being a mechanic from some time ago, but not been on the tools for 20+ years. I am really poor with electrics (already posted for help with my battery not charging!). Don't know why, must be a mental block. Anyway, I new to forums, so bear with me if you are responding, I am not stupid honest.
