Rick Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 i thought bigr red were a proffessional company until i received my sierra calipers back today that were supposedely reconditioned. i posted them to bigg red along with the overhall kits. all they had to do was repaint the calipers and sliders and assemble the parts and replace a few parts ---- i opened the box to find the paint hadnt taken to the calipers like they werent dry or they had been sprayed over grease or moisture half the parts hadnt been replaced and my overhall kits had vanished???? still trying to get a refund out of them but no reply. £93 quid for a half arsed job my misus could have done . not happy at all
Admin Vista Posted January 26, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 26, 2007 Sounds pretty shoddy to me too. Did you pay by credit card if so you may be able to claim off them.

Rick Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Posted January 26, 2007 il get it back they look much better in the pic lol the paint i can redo myself its the fact that the dirty parts came back in a bag instead of the new parts and my overhaul kits that i paid for and sent to them have vanished>??
Admin Vista Posted January 26, 2007 Admin Report Posted January 26, 2007 The dirty (i.e. old parts ) are in the bag? surely that means that the new parts have been fitted doesn't it? I assume they appear complete? What did your kit consist of?
CéDriC Posted January 26, 2007 Report Posted January 26, 2007 Are you sure the paint isn't black treatment? We done this at work like one the Hi tensile bolt...
Rick Posted January 26, 2007 Author Report Posted January 26, 2007 the seals for the sliders and a few nick nacks., they are supposed to be painted black the bits in the bag are the bits theyve taken off theres no replacement parts for them been fitted? they must have a work experience kid or something the last pair i had were good, but i cant get in touch with them now £93 for 2 bleed nipples 2 pistons and springs????
