mk2harrier Posted February 25, 2012 Report Posted February 25, 2012 this is probably in the wrong area and im sure it will be moved to the correct one but i was recently visiting my dad up north and was going through the old photo albums and found these so i thought i would share them with you all. this was a mk1 van running a 2L pinto, it would have been around 78/79. this was just before i was born the baby is my sister. this was a car my dad restored after a crash, it was also running a 2L pinto. i was about 4/5yrs then putting it around 83/84 this is a full GP4 spec rally car that my dad built, i remember this car very well and was quite upset when it was sold. as you can see it had some hard rallies, and after the crash it was straightened out and back rallying the following week. it was running a 2.2L pinto on twin 50's. my dad has a picture of this car somewhere cresting a hill flat out with all four wheels off the ground, it was taken seconds before it landed in a tank track causing the above damage. if i find it i will post it. my dad also showed me this video of Tony Drummond at Lydden Hill in one of my dads rally cars running a 2.1L BDA. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UkIzMPQG-FE
