I agree + there are no close up pics to show the welding and it does not say there is a logbook either !

i can't see what other people can see that looks bad about it in the pictures (but then i know nothing about bodywork) but i'd suspect 3k is a tad steep - you could get a running car for that

It's to tell from pics when a car is in primer, but if you follow the lines along the sides then look at the left ring to wing rail, i think there's alot of hard work to be done to get it looking nice and panels to line up.

Also doesnt look like the bubbles have been blended in yet, i'd say there's a good few hrs by a good bodywwork man to get that looking nice ?

As for prices they are up & down at the minute and it's more of whether you think it's a good price and if you are prepared to spend the money to get it how you want it ?

Yes there are some nice looking finished cars out there but as proved time & time again you never know what's been covered up until you start digging deeper.

If i was looking id be keeping an eye on the forums for a known car with a thread running or an un molested car from abroad if any were availble.

There's a load of left hand drive ones just come in from bulgaria that are said to be selling from £1600 upwards which are untouched needing minimal rust work doing, of course you will need to convert to right hand drive but that's not so hard to do with the right bits.

Cars always look good in primer  (I mean better than they really are)

fill it, prime it, sell it (not saying he has done that) but with my experience with fords/2nd hand parts/people :(::no:... gotta be aware of every trick in the book :)
