I would like to say a Big Thanks to all of you out there that helped make our Show Exhibitor Stand Debut a big success. It was nice to see a few old faces and have a good old chin wag!!!

 

It was nice catching up with Posse and Over Head Cam! And also Willsy (and another guy I dont know lol) I will be in touch mate! I cant wait to get the MK2 out on the streets again!

 

A special mention to Frank the Fencer and his gay mate for helping get all our kit there! Top Job

Car and stand looked great, I waved to yor dad but he was too busy - as Sam says it would have been good to see it up the strip - the car, not your Dad.

Cortina still has a little dent and a scrape from where some dosey lady drove into it on the A Frame 2 years ago. I got the ok to fix it soon afterwards but my preferred painty man (not his official title) was too busy - it should be going in soon I hope.

 

I would have loved to have done CF and Brighton Speed Trials in it this year especially. It's the 50th aniversary of the Cortina - you must have heard about the Jubilee! We even get a public holiday.

We went to the show for the first time with a trade stand,not knowing how good or bad it would be but was amazed how good it was & all the stock we sold, so we will definately be there next year & who knows we might even have a race car there !! LOL
