My 1600E Show winner

Here is my 1967 Ford Cortina Mk2 1600E Series 1 I am the second owner and she only covered 30,650 miles. And winning Best car in show has made my day.

Thanks for the nice post regarding my 1600E. This is what it is all about keeping the old girl on the road and just bringing back memories of days gone by to many people. Not all good I would imagine, But at shows she gets a lot of comments and adoreing looks and belive it or not many more than some of the exotic and expensive cars in our club. i bought mine from bristol about 8 years ago.none runner all welding done put back together with a bad spray job.for the some of 750.with prop in boot.got it on ramp.prop yo long.had dog leg box.sorted that out.serviced engine.done couple little bit on brakes,passed mot.niiice.drove for a month paint everywhere.took it off the road,striped and restord.ermin white.looked the danglees.sold it to someone in irland to fund going to spain.now saving up to come back.miss the classic car seen big time.
