Watched it last night and i thought it was a real eye opener especially the way the power BHP went up in 3 or 4 years well it doubled ...........then there was the crowd control i mean lack of it .......Good programme though

It was scary wasn't it? I remember watching the rallying at the time but had no recollection of the crowd encroaching on the track like that, perhaps because it was the norm in rallying at the time so didn't stick in my memory. But watching it now 30 years or so on, Jesus, it's a miracle that spectators weren't dying regularly!
