Hi to all you Ford nuts.

I'm Michael, AKA GreenBean. I just want to check in and say hello to you all.

I'm from Ireland,the west coast to be precise.I came across your fine forums

while doing my nut looking for Irish classic fords,Mk III cortinas to be exact.

Alas my country has very few (that i can find) in my price range.There crazy

Euro.I always loved the US styling of the Mk III.But.......yes i started a sentence

with "but" lol i love all classic fords,iv'e never owned one before but now is the

time.

 

Previous classic car history: 82 corolla coupe that i trashed the hell out of *slams keyboard for the lack of foresight* it died a horrible

death. *sigh*

 

Lot's of the usual ford stuff: Escorts,Orions,Fiestas and what not nothing special tbh.

 

Current drive: 2007 focus 1.8 flexifuel and i hate it so bad.Don't ever be fooled by eco Fords there terrible

terrible cars.It has my heart broken with break downs/repairs. The oil and plugs cost 100 euro alone lol.

Ok so current drive turned into a rant but hey it's a Ford so deep down i love her.........right??????

 

So that's me i hope to be active here in the future  and who knows maybe a trip across the water soon

for my perfect Mk III cortina is just around the corner.
