Hello from the 'Fens'

Hi all,

 

Names Carl, and have been looking for a while for somewhere to park my 'butt', and share my enthusiasm with like minded folk.

  Thanks to 'louie bagel' for the intro to OSF.

First ever car was an Anglia 105e i bought way back when i was about 14 years old  (needed something for my new spanner collection to play with) ... hence the username ....  it kinda stuck back then!!.

  Have had a lot of different Fords over time, but for me, i've kept with mk3 Capri's now for several years.

Currently 'wedged' in my garage is a 78 Xpacked mk3 with a rover 3.5 V8, in need of paint ...... i found her like this after she had been partly built, then tucked up in a shed for 20 years & my aim is to free her of the 16 x 9 prison she currently resides in & drive to the CFS on 2nd June. A tall order, because there is a fair bit of work to be done, and she will still be 'work in progress' ..... but you know what they say about a good whiskey
