FredTransit Posted January 7, 2008 Report Posted January 7, 2008 We are still using the Mk2 transits commercially, they are more relyable than the drivers we employ. The other half is taking one of em off to Berlin the day after tomorrow, the same van has been to Milan several times, and at least two of em will be off to Paris in March. I saw off one of the DI engine before Christmas, on the way to Birmingham. We got it in a conversion 2nd hand 10 years ago, and I reckon it was about 20 years old.
kevmk2 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 Parked mine up after shaky in september, went down the garage last week to get the car moved into my mates garage and it was on the button first time,no rattles or noises Cant beat fuel injection for cold starts

sab6024 Posted January 8, 2008 Report Posted January 8, 2008 My Capri is very reliable when I use her. Used to use it everyday for work doing about 30,000 miles a year and never really let me down. Broke a couple clutch cables in that time but wouldn't not start on me. It's only a 1600LS but good as gold bless her......not using it at the moment though
