Great night though and i'll definately be along to more. Yep mine was the white mex at the back, last night made me realise i need to learn how to clean a car properly

saw all the fords.. went home, got my saph and came back!!! I was in the red saphire park just outside the entrance.. it was packed!!! Car was filthy so want exactly 'car park material' anyway lol

So who were the hooligans giving it large in the plastic later on then? Paul worked hard to get this meet off the ground and stuff like that could torpedo all his efforts. You should all be aware that Boxhill is also under threat of being taken away from us for the same sort of thing.

Well said mate, we go to this meet every month, rain or shine, winter or summer, and it now looks like we could lose the use of The Eagle due to last night. The landlord was apparently "ok" but the residents were far from happy with it all. The Police did arrive a little later and were watching and recording, also some of the residents were taking down number plates while the "festivities" were in full swing. Paul works bloody hard to sort this meet and last night was a fantastic turnout, it was a shame things got a little out of hand with the burnouts etc, also Pauls Escort was covered with rubber and grit etc by the end of the night. It will be such a shame if we do lose the Eagle venue, and us "regulars" are a bit p****d off about it, but hey ho what can you do ?

Multiple doughnuts in the junction on the main road and rolling burnouts creating a wall of white smoke whereby someone pulled out infront of an NHS vehicle nearly causing an accident aren't really acceptable levels of behaviour bringing disrepute onto those of us that behave sensibly not forgettin respectfully towards the host of the event after, and all his hard work, it appears the regular attendees of the event have now lost it

first car to give it the large was a nice mk2.....its what happens when a lot of car nuts get together it did to be fair get a bit silly and I nearly lost a eye when the real nice 3dr was having it from the stones it was flicking up...I hope pauls car didn't get any damage.....it was a top meet tho will defo be at the next one if it is still allowed to happen....

did the rally drivers not realise the building opposite the pub was a police station with full cctv on all corners of it .and a resident taking down number plates.

i thought rally driving was all about control ,from my view it looked like they was out of control.

Judging by the ivestigations into last night, i dont think we'll be welcome back there any more, the locals and the Police have taken this VERY seriously, and as Martin said the Police station is fully CCTV'd up, so its all on camera apparently.

It took Paul and Jodie a long time to find a nice venue for the Essex OSF meet, the Eagle was a perfect choice, so its going to be a hell of a blow for us Essex members, it could take a while now to find an alternative venue, so i just hope that the landlord and the local residents give us a chance, if we do i reckon there'll be a Police presence at the next one, which really shouldnt have to happen at a small rural evening meet.

I think last nights stunt driving just shows obviously some old skool ford owners clearly have a lack of intelligence, and are clealry inadequate in the trouser dept, so they feel the need to try and prove themselves in other ways.

I've been involved in licensing for public houses through my job, and i'd say if complaints have been made to both the police and the council, there's a strong possibility of the pub being told to cancel future events or risk loosing its licence. Think the chances of the eagle meet being allowed to continue are not in our favour.

 

Well done and thank you to all the morons involved for risking what was getting to be a really popular meet.  And to top it all, to potentially damage other members cars too, knobheads. Hope your car is alright Paul

Massive WELL DONE to Paul, great venue for the essex meets.       

 

Excellent selction of motors , must have been a few quid's worth of cars sitting in the car park last night. Shame the seafood stall was closed 

 

As for the end of the meet , i think we all know how this went......  not so good ...  ok , i up for the quick  getaway my self at times, but come on chaps..

Spoke to a couple of Essex boys in Blue today and ...WE.......( oldskoolford ) .. seem to be the talk of the town, so well done

 

If Paul is able to salvage this event..he should be fooking  renamed ......SIR TALL PAUL..in my view..

We use to have the same thing with the bike meets, a minority buggered it up for everyone else. I bet someone has footage of the culprits on their mobile. Track days and drift days are for hooning about.
