brettp Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 People reading this that didn't go will think it was a crap night full of bell ends doing donuts I personally think its the best pub meet ive ever been to some really great cars yes the enthusiastic exit driving was way over the top but if it doesn't end the meet I will definitely go again as will alot of other people if they look at the pictures and see that 99 percent of the night was great 4

It was a top night with lots of fantastic shiny metal, some new cars we haven't seen before and I'm sure for some people inspiration to carry on with their own projects. Lets focus on that now and put all this behind us and look forward to all meeting again soon. Once again, hats off to Paul for getting the meet off the ground and established as one of the best meets in Essex, he should be very proud. Long may it continue.

mustangon2 Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 Hi mate, did your mate Dave work at Fords at Dagenham, my Dad worked there in the power station and he told me he was taken for a drive in Ford Fever within the Ford compound and it frightened the life out of him lol, he says its the fastest hes ever travelled in a car, my Dads name is Allen Wakeling ,your mate might remember him yes marc and i'm still there JUST, i remember allen,great bloke and foreman( better than the one we got now ) it was just after the P.T.A. closed and we were still up there, i brought ford fever in on a saturday, i gave your dad a little ride (he wanted to know how fast is went), i reversed up the road a bit to give my-self some space and then let rip, with bout 500 brake of big block V8 torque you get pinned to the seat and a white knuckle ride as it snakes for grip, i think he enjoyed it lol
mustangon2 Posted June 28, 2013 Report Posted June 28, 2013 it was my first night there, i was in my little 100e parked on the grass in the corner with my mates corsair v8, V8 100e ,and ford fever, was an excellent good night,lots to look at, until you know wot happened, thought it was a bit strong, always the same, a few spoil it for everyone,hope it keeps going...good luck guys
