I know this is most probably a legitimate post / member and in which case welcome to site, but......

 

seems a little bit dodgy to me to ask people to post pic's of cars they've spotted when out and about as a first post. (Possibly hoping for locations too) Hate to be a synic but you really can't be too careful these days.

Good good. It's terrible the way we have to think nowadays. Someone stopped for a few seconds as they went past in a van and was looking at my escort as I was cleaning it the other day, it didn't even cross my mind they could just be a fan of OSF's I was just in full parinoid glaring mode! Ha ha. Only crossed my mind afterwards. Better to be safe then sorry though

It's a shame.. most people are genuinely interested in the cars... When my mk1 is on my drive it gets loads of attention from passers by; probably because loads of people owned them in the 70s. If I see one out and about I find myself staring....

sounds about right when people find out the pile of panels in the the corner at the workshop is a mk1 escort there like i used to have one or my dad did ect and really get in to it
