£20k would buy you a minty mint restored mk2 RS2000 that was complete and you didn't need to build yourself (whilst finding another 5 - 10k for all the other stuff you'd need)

I'd enjoy building it. I'd lose money no doubt, but if I could afford to buy that then I'd have enough not to worry about it
