Fly off handbrake advise...

Would like to fit one of these on the v8. There are a few on the market and was wondering which makes/companies you have bought from and what feedback you have on them. Do not want to spent loads. Any tips much appreciated, many thanks

buy good quality one from RACE, Squires lads, there are some dodgy chinese cylinders about. It's the same old saying "pay a little extra and pay once" or "pay less and pay twice".

Thanks for info. I agree with you about price but I did not want to pay £100s. I will give RACE a ring as could not find website. Also like the look of these

I'm assuming you know a hydraulic handbrake won't pass an MOT?

No worries, already have cable handbrake fitted

why don't you just buy a fly off kit and adapt your existing lever, cost about £15 ish that way you retain your cable set up and wont have 2 levers. I used to have one of these kits on my mk2 road rally set up with 3ltr capri rear drums and worked superbly
