FezzaSteve Posted June 25, 2013 Report Posted June 25, 2013 I've just been given a Mk1 Ford Fiesta by a mate that will be completely stripped down and rebuilt as well as having a full re-spray as well. It contains the original 957cc engine as well as the original interior without any mods having been done on her. The first job required is to put the car through a VIC check as it doesn't currently have a V5 log. For this check i require a Brake Servo unit with the master cylinder as well as the pedal bar. I will also need the accelerator cable clip which locks the cable onto the throttle linkage so if anyone knows where i could get these parts then that would be ideal and very much appreciated.Eventually it will probably receive an upgraded engine but this is not 100% definite yet nor is the choice of engine replacement. Once the project gets underway then i will start a thread on the resto project with regular updates and pictures hopefully.All the best,Steve
