....to say i"ll fix it later

Fanbelts been wailing like a Banshee for the past month , and i kept saying to myself , " i will fix that ....." . Well this morning , of all fcukin mornings , it bit me on the arse :!:

Go outside at 5.30am to go to work , Granny starts( ish ) , mmm , SNOW  , bit of a play ( you know the score  ) ..... 1/2 mile down the road ...Granny cuts out  10 minutes later , flooded carb and fcukn dead as a door nail battery :!::twisted:

So we had to walk the 2 mile ......

Lesson : Squeaky = slipping belt = not charging properly = dead battery = no fookin car .

That"ll teach me

So , phone call from garage today...yes fanbelt fooked , so its been changed...also you had a fuel problem , running very rich....some sh*tty fuel and the base of the carb was frozen....FOOK ME , WAS IT REALLY THAT COLD WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Note to self. My fanbelt has been squealing for the past month. I'll get my lovely brother to sort it for me. Don't wanna be cutting out on some dark back lane somewhere. Although the Capri wouldn't start at all yesterday. Come to think of it neither would my other car.
