Type 9 rear oil seal

I've got a slight oil leak on the rear seal of my type 9 gearbox. Once the propshaft is off, is it easy to take the seal out, and replace it?

Yes, it's just a radial lip seal, just hook it out and push the new one in making sure it goes all the way home and is the right way round

vista beat me to it, once the prop is of it will take you 5 minutes, get it started by hand first then push it home with a socket or piece of tube just smaller than the seal, grease it well and refit the prop. whilst the prop is out check that there isn't a groove worn in it causing the leak ( unlikely )
