Been offered a 1700 Corsair that's been off the road since 1997, done 80,000 miles the guys Grandad bought it new ...........

What would I need to look for and roughly what sort of price do they go for ?

Never really had anything to do with these before.

Looks like Aquatic Jade colour.I would say Corsairs are a little under the equivalent mk2 cortina model on value. There were a lot less made but the market for them is smaller .

So apart from the £50 offer anyone have any ideas what it would be worth ? I know they need to get it sold but I would like a ball park figure to start with.

Hi ive got one myself.a 65 4 door.they are quite rare.lots more old school fords around compared to corsairs

look how much they are fetching on ebay.look at the condition of them and go from there.im from that time

era and to my memory there wasnt that many made.they may well be not as popular as the mk1 cortinas

but if you get it.sort it and turn up at shows you will be in the minority and to me thats what its all about.

there cant be no doubt that the mk1 cortinas are the daddy.i had the GT and a Lotus back in the day.

could kick myself for getting rid but in them days cars came and went easy.good luck on what you decide

and keep us informed
