Did you get the email with the tracking number Mike? This is what it says when tracked, 

 

 

We have your item. We have tried to deliver your item from our CHELMSFORD Delivery Office before 12:50 on 12/11/13 and we have left a while you were out card.

 

tbh though as I send most merchandise items tracked, I see quite a few reports of no card being left despite their claim. Go to the chelmsford delivery office and tell them they're looking for a brown A3 landscape envelope with DO NOT BEND written on it top and bottom on the front
