WRC Wales GB (warning lots of picture)

i find it a bit strange that there has been no mention of the WRC in north wales this year. i went up for the four days with my 6yr old and a m8, we couldnt get to all the stages that i wanted to but had an awesome time all the same.

we were that close on this sweeping left hand bend that the cars were just too fast for me and the camera.

and some from Chirk Castle, which due to the sheer volume of people and poor organisation turned out to be a disaster with very poor viewing, but i enjoyed it all the same.

 

 

unfortunately due to the rally being stopped for safety reasons there was a couple of hours delay which ment the drivers cars were not prepared for a night stage and it got dark.

great days out though and will definately be going again next year.

the black and yellow mk2 at sweet lamb overcooked it on the hairpin so he carried on with a donut, the crowd went wild it was an awesome atmosphere.

 

also being stood on a long sweeping lefthander about a metre from the track when the wrc cars come through flat out was just earsplitting joy.

great pics must do the wrc some time watch the clark every year an its awesome seeing the oldskools giving it death in the forest but seeing the works drivers are in a differant league

do they still the welsh rally in around march time? they used to run the moderns then the classics after many years ago
