deluxe Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 i have bought all the rs alloy bits for my pinto from Germany. No problems so far. Only "problem" is that they are too tight to accept paypal so you have to transfer money which takes about 3 days. But it still is practically possible if you have an online bank that allows international transfers. Shipment (to Norway) is usually about 1/3 of the price of similar things from Britain and takes about a week.
MK5 Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 i've had no trouble with foreign sellers - even chanced mobile phone spares from Hong Kong... doris i work with has only bought one thing from Germany - a dress - they sent the wrong colour and size... took her ages to get a reply, and then the seller was out of stock. she finally got a refund after getting PayPal involved... you pay your money, you take your chance...
