I was a bit surprised when I saw this yesterday with a current bid of over 900 and still a day to go....What do you think?

Sold for £1035. I've seen much worse for sale. There was a mk2 rs2000 a while back, twice as bad as that one and it sold for £4k!

Prices are holding well as most of the people that originally drove these cars are now in their 40s or 50s, kids grown up and mortgage paid, so now have a disposable income.  Therefore, a bit of nostalgia kicks in and they're going sideways again, like back in the day.

 

I have been trying to get a decent set of black fishnet recaros for mine, as I have buckets fitted. Every time a set pops up, the price goes through the roof and I can't justify paying it out.

To be fair you could probably get most that back breaking it. Bit shocking when I think back to selling my mk1 rs2000 for 400 quid with mot on it!

i just found written on an old calender the price i paid for a very good mk1 rs2000 rolling shell i bought off a mate  in 2000 for only £200 !!! still about the only car i ever regret selling.on a 'P' plate too
