does anybody know where i can get a heater bubble pad which cover bulkhead for my escort mk2 rs2000 new or old as long as in good condition many thanks stephen

They're all locked away in the Unobtainium store, on the shelf between the goose that lays golden eggs and the rocking horse poo!

 

Though now I've said that, someone will be along with two in five minutes! I've never heard of them being reproduced and they're a pretty rare part used.

They have been reproduced but in GRP so don't look or feel realistic. I'm still trying to fathom their purpose - maybe minimal soundproofing?

Genuine ones come up in eBay now and again. Price goes through the roof though. Last one I saw went for £170ish and it was in shit state.

Probably the GRP ones that Katana mentioned, I can't really see the point in them myself.

 

If you want it for its noise insulation properties, how about getting the area painted in black Mascoat? It's used for noise damping in ship construction a lot and is very effective. Whether you can buy it in the quantities we're talking about for a job this size is another matter.
