Well since the new fiesta ST cam out I have Been tempted to upgrade and I am now finding myself test driving one tomorrow...

I currently have a limited edition fiesta metal I bought new back in 2012, 1.6 134bhp with loads of extras,

But the ST has a 1.6 turbo 180bhp (215 if I had the Mountune kit fitted)

here is a 5 month wait for the ST

Struggling to make a decision as I know the one I have now is 1 of a 1000 on the road but on the other hand, if I keep it I am only going to lose more money on it making it harder to upgrade in the future.

What do you think everyone?

My fiesta I have now,

To be honest both are money pits and will only depreciate every minute you own them. Its all about how much money you want to blow having fun in your daily

Tough one as your existing one looks a beauty

But more power ????

yeah about 80bhp with mountune pack, and to be honest that's the two things that are missing from mine is the extra power and 6 speed box... :s

You're 19 aren't you Ross?

I'm impressed, 19 and owning a classic Ford plus looking at buying a brand new Fiesta ST? When I was 19 I could barely afford a 7 year old mk1 Astra!

Only £500 insurance? You've done well there. I'm 40 now with over 15 years ncb and recently had quotes for more than that for a 2004 3 series Beemer! When I was 19 a £150 mk2 escort 1100 was over £700 to insure.

If that's the insurance price and you can afford the car, get it :)

I'm a good saver

Next project is to invest money in a house though i think, as prices round here are only just starting to go up,

the escort will always look better    :ykt:

Yeah its great, even when i bought the one i have now, i was just 18 with no ncb and it was just under 1500 to insure, must be down to the safety aspect of things...
