What the best size cibbies for two up two down on a mk1 .

 

Any brand or seller you'd recommend online or eBay etc? Thanks

Then there's the issue of which brackets, i.e. two up two down inline or offset?

 

Oh and Cibie is the brand, though technically I think they're owned by Valeo. The type you want are Oscars (7") Super Oscars (9") or both.

 

Supplier? Rally design stock them I think, but they're far from alone in doing so. Just be aware that you can't get the super Oscars new with the chrome ring anymore

You can get sims which is a super Oscar replica at a smaller cost

A lot of the irish lads use them

Vista, you've opened up a new can if worms for me. I'm set in Super Oscar upper and Oscar lower.

 

What are these different brackets to which you refer?

The brackets on mine are two up two down directly in line with other, there are other types that mount the lights offset from each other do that the centres of the lower pair are further apart than the centres of the upper pair, or vice versa of course.

i make sets of the lamp brackets as per 'works' type with the twist. and oscar and super oscars is the way.
