Here's another one spotted today in Melliah ... fully restored and looking lovely.

This old AEC Reliance (1957 I think) hangs out near me, I watched them restore it whilst I was rebuilding my van. I believe it's the last of its kind on the road in the UK

The maltease buses are awesome used to love getting around the island on them!

They were all replaced a few years ago by the Aviva bendy buses but they were not liked and are all being replaced .... you can still see some of the lovely Maltese buses but not many and only for tourist trips.

Yeah last time I was there I saw all the brand new aviva buses, fancy having bendy buses on an island that small! It's a shame they don't use them anymore, if I remember right they were all privately owned some were mint condish others were pretty ropey but they had so much character! And we're so cheap!! But that was before they joined the eu and adopted the euro

Maltese Buses were awesome, I say bring them back and get rid of the bendy buses!
