scotty Posted May 6, 2014 Report Posted May 6, 2014 Hi guys my name is Scott and I've just brought myself a mk2 escort 1.3L South Africa import,I use to have a mk1 focus rs but have always been a big fan of oldskool fords so went for it ,it's currently still sitting where I brought it from waiting for the number plate,logbook and tax disc from dvla,it runs and drives lovely,can't wait to pick it up. Plans for now is more show and no go,lowered new wheels paint some bits up black,then have a think on what engine I want to go for. scotty Posted May 24, 2014 Author Report Posted May 24, 2014 Good to here some old skool ford owners local to me ,no it's still not on the road,DVLA are so slow,the car is uk registered now and when I ring the plate through it comes up ,just waiting for the tax disc and log book now,only got a week till classic ford :-/,at this rate are be picking it up and driving straight to the show haha. Yeah them South African shells are so solid,goes to show how much our climate affects them
