Paul F Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 Does anyone have a rough idea, either as an amount or percentage, how much nitrous usually adds onto your insurance premium? Cheers, Paul
Wessie Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 just say you carry it for medical reasons bit of laughing gas always goes down well
Paul F Posted February 14, 2007 Author Report Posted February 14, 2007 "honestly officer, the only way I could see to inhale the gasses myself, were to have them run through the fuelling system first..."
slimrs Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 i wouldnt mind finding out this aswell, often thought about nos
60ftman Posted February 14, 2007 Report Posted February 14, 2007 It depends on the insurance company, your age, your driving history, and the other modifications to the car. If you've got nitrous but nothing else you will be stung, but nitrous on a highly modified car will only add a few %. Best thing to do is ring around a few of the specialist companies and ask the question. It doesn't make any difference to my car either way on the insurance. They do insist that I don't use the N2O on the road though!
