SebringRS Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 Again, been a while since I've been on properly, busy with work and other things, but thought seens Classic Ford show is now long gone, and the new look is out the bag, for those who didn't see it at Classic Ford show I thought i'd post some pictures up. The cars now very controversial , as proven at Classic Ford Show, heard many mixed reviews Taking a few idea' from the VAG/Dub scene I suppose, not to everyones taste, but I was getting bored of the "South London look" as cool as it is, I deffo fancied something a bit different. Came across a dirt cheap set of Schmidt TH lines, 30 mins down the road from me, couldn't pass them up even if they didn't fit the car, they would of been a money maker. Fortunately, they did fit......Just Running 9j on the rear, only arch mod being rolled lips, thanks to the offset And running 8j up front. Both front and rears are on 195/45/14's, giving a slight amount of stretch at the rear, just giving me enough room to tuck the top of the tyre under the arch Oh and not forgetting my show plates Pretty happy with the car now, just needs a few little jobs doing again. Has won me a handful of awards, two being Top 10 at both Players at North Weald last year, and again this year at Players Classic at Goodwood, always makes the hard work and long hours worthwhile So yeah, plans for over winter are to repaint the whole thing again, as there are a few bits starting to bubble like rear arches, rear panel and bottom of the doors, so thought i'd catch it early before it gets really bad and paint it again (hopefully without any runs this time ) Also need to sort out some coilovers for the front to loose the stupidly big arch gap and also fit the disc brakes its been needing since I bought it , and while im there ill fit longer wheel studs so I can go for slightly bigger spacers on the front 2
bigbadsquare Posted July 24, 2014 Report Posted July 24, 2014 I love this car , my favourite colour mk1 and the wheels look Awsome, did you paint it yourself ?

SebringRS Posted October 28, 2014 Author Report Posted October 28, 2014 Shows are over for this year now, so once I've sorted the house move and got somewhere to work on the car the winter jobs will be starting More controversial changes are being made if funds allow
