Hi Guys

Just wanted to pick your brains and ask what a completely original solid MK1 Rs2000 is worth on 20k roughly? It hasn't been on the road for 30 odd years but it's rot free and complete

Depends entirely on condition, impossible to put a price on it without pics and more detail

I thought that might be the case, but what do you think the bare minimum is, if it's complete rot free but needs recommissioning?

I would take a look on a couple of car selling sites and see what something similar is going for.

Ashford auctions in the end. MK1 RS2000 complete, not seen any other for sale. Black with gold pin strips and 22k miles inclding all original paperwork. Was a bit special to be honest. I expect to see it up for sale soon all scrubbed up

rare opportunities like this are impossible to value, and i think proper auctions are the way to go, items like this are worth what someone will pay, the guy that paid the 29k obviously wanted it bad, but had he not been there  that day it may have only made 20K, so you never realy know exact values. the flipside of course is now everyone will think that their rs 2000 is worth 30K !
