Does anyone know much about them? like if they are the same dimensions, tuning potential etc etc.

 

I was thinking about getting one as a replacement for the 1.6 in the capper

Its an yank engine so will be hard to get parts and because of there emission laws it will require alot of work to make big power output, stick too the british OHC its much better.

There is a crowd in the states that sell tuned versioms of those pintos off

the shelf. Dont think they will fit in a escort though as there a lot taller

than a normal pinto.

Think that's a Lima like the 2.3 turbo mustang used, longer, taller, wider than a UK pinto.

put a subaru skoop on the bonnet and it'll fit under the bonnet!
