.....new fuel tank sender units for a mk2 escort ?

 

I've got my tank out for a clean and freshen up and the fuel sender is looking a bit worse for wear

No doubt someone will have a NOS one.......for hundreds of pounds - but off the shelf veeerrrrrrry unlikely - may have been used in other models so who knows but senders are usually pretty tank specific! Good old one would be better bet - if it works what else do you need?

You can. I bought a NOS one on the bay about 6 months ago for £35. Just a case of keep looking and waiting.

Change of plan - Ralloy baffled alloy tank, stand, filler pipe linked to original filler cap and a VDO sender unit. And so the spending begins..............
