Not wanting to be negative but what are the chances that the queue might be better organised ? This year I arrived at 9am but it was gone noon by the time I actually got through the gate !

It's a good question but one that you'll need to put to the organisers rather than us. Certainly you don't get value for money out of the show if you lose half of the day in a queue!

In other news, arrive earlier

No arguing with that its deffo the best show of the year IMO. And to be fair to CF it was the clueless marshals causing the issues last time. So out of CF's hands. I'm looking forward to next years (whatever car I'm in).

I can't wait! Missed last years but hoping my P100 gets finished soon so I can ask Simon if I can put it on the CF stand as it isn't an OSF 8)

You'll have sold it by then Dave!

    Are you related to Fast Eddie by any chance?  :scared:

I know I'm bad, but I'm not THAT bad...

My excuse is that I find sourcing parts, thinking how something should 'look' and generally planning a car is more enjoyable to me than driving one. Strange, but true.

they cant stick to it there to much money at stake to loose .im going in a focus rs there already clubs with stands ready for cf next year happy days as long as theres only fords there who gives a toss, plus most of the old fords have broke down on the m1 getting to the pod lol

I'm gonna give it a miss next year, I've been every year for at least the last 10 and always had a great time but after getting in/out last year and the fact theres loads of mondeo's and focus's even though they'd said they were doin just classics I think I'll take a break from it.

fords are classics at different ages for different aged people, so a 1988 f plate sierra aint a classic to a 40year old but if you are 20 years old then its a classic I like all fords old new old with new engines in they are all classics to me

We are going to make a proper weekend out of it by hanging around an hour or two at the end to avoid the queue then stay in the hotel an extra night.

I must have got lucky this year! Arrived at 7:45-8ish on sunday had a little queue on the way in, no longer then 15mins! Parked my car on the stand! Well organised must I say

Staying over in the hotel on the Sunday is a good call, not so much of a rush to leave early and a leisurely cruise home to Plymouth on the Monday!

Will PM you Malcy with where we are gonna stay
