love the 100e but the cost would add up as for the mk1 good price even with the cost of transporting it but wouldn't want to mess with a car that original very rare to see a mk1 like that these days

I had a mk2 cortina for my first car and that was great! Was cheap to insure for a young driver to! Cheaper then a corsa!! For some reason the insurance on mk1 fiesta's are silly! 1300 quid is a tight budget but it is doable! Just be patient and check all the forsale sites regularly! Thats what I do! 4months ago I paid £1300 for a mk2 Tina estate so bargains are still out there just gotta get on them quick!

whats it like for mpg and city driving

I did about a 5/6 mile trip in it everyday I was putting around £15 quid fuel in it every week and that was driving sensibly! if you start putting your foot down everywhere it likes to drink fuel!

Insurance depends on the area you live and other factors like how long you've been driving, NCB etc

I bought my Fiesta last year being 18 and driving for a year but it was way to high for me to insure it there and then, Hopefully by the middle of this year I should be able to afford the insurance on it and get it out on the road myself

Mk1 Fiestas recently have been creeping up in price but there are still some good ones to have for around 1000-1200 another option is a mk2 fiesta which you can regularly find for under £1,000 although we don't cater for them on here!
