Petrolprices.com have started a blog for comments. There are some real weany tree huggers on there, but most comments are in favour of the show.

HELLO It's called entertainment for a reason!

 

I can't believe what some of these people are saying! Moaning about the driving and the fact that the average person won't own half the cars they show. It's Top Gear!!!! It's a program about mostly exciting cars and the reason they feature boring cars is because they HAVE to, to keep boring turnip heads happy!

 

I find it difficult to come to a reasonable explanation as to why these people are alive let alone show thier faces in broad daylight. If they are going to live they should live in a cave away from anything remotely interesting or exciting.

 

ARGH!!!

how funny! im sure the people in comment no.1 and 16 are from a different planet! some of the people need a reality check and although they are entitled to their own views/comments they seem to be very anti-car. maybe they are people from the government who are taking the fun out of driving rapidly

Do you reckon we could get everyone who is one of these tree huggers, eco warriors etc to send thier personal details to the OSF Snatch Squad, so they can be visited in the nite/early hours by people dressed not too dissimilar from the Gestapo, obviously with the swastika replaced with an OSF logo and taken away?

lol that would be nice. stick them all on an island with no roads and no top gear and they would be over the moon by the sounds. although im sure they would still find something to complain about

yeah, whilst they believe they have a valid point, these people, they don't realise that some of us simply don't want to walk everywhere (like we did in 1601) and want some fun in our cars.

 

 

with the viewership that top gear gets, they won't take it off the air and i think clarkson's vocal enough to stop them toning it down, hopefully
