Pasting doesn't seem to work?

I appear to be unable to paste from the clipboard into any thread

 

If I "CTRL-C" then "CTRL-V" nothing appears

 

If I "Right-Click" with the mouse "paste" is disabled

 

If I choose "Paste" from the forum toolbar I get asked whether I want to allow the website access to the clipboard so I choose "Yes" nothing happens

 

Paste as plain text and paste from Word return the same. Nothing!

 

Any ideas?

I could dl Chrome, Firefox or Safari then try again but my Chrome installation is prone to malware at the moment until I sort it

Try taking the forum out of HTML mode, it's the top left icon above the text box you type your reply in. At least it is if you click "more reply options" first (bottom right). If that doesn't sort it then no idea, sorry. I do read of others having problems with certain forum functions when using IE. All of which disappear when trying a different browser.

That didn't work so i've fixed my malware problem and back with Chrome.

I gave up on IE years ago, it tries to be too clever for its own good and ends up tripping itself up.
