PeteRS8084 Posted May 31, 2015 Report Posted May 31, 2015 Well the weather held - just. What a day, the first show I have been to in years, and both me and the missus loved all of it. From the retail, to all the brilliant cars on show, through to the run what you brung - some truly fast and special cars, and as for the demonstration drag cars and that jet car.................OMG! Special thoughts go to the guy in that ballisticly fast mk3 escort who was unfortunate to prang out into the wall, hope your ok mate! To the guys who also displayed on the Adrian Flux stand I hope you got back to Darlington (RS turbo), Wiltshire (mk1 1300 sport) and finally the amazing anglia from Cambridge - pleasure to meet you all and I hope you all got back safe and sound. And finally to the guys and girls who we saw on the way back via the M1, M25 and M40. .....Cheers for the waves and thumbs up! I will do it differently next year.......I will get my tickets early and be part of all the brilliant cars on the old skool ford stand! Cheers again.............Pete (kermit) and Di (Mrs kermit). 4

khanlad Posted May 31, 2015 Report Posted May 31, 2015 Saw kermit, looked as good in flesh as the plctures on here, face is a bit red 1
iandq Posted May 31, 2015 Report Posted May 31, 2015 what a great day, my first classic ford show, and first time at the pod for something like 20 years, so many changes ! I didn't take the Anglia because of the weather, but had a great day and my son ( 10 ) loved every minute too. I saw the aftermath of the mk3 crash, such a shame as it was running really strong. looking forward to next year already, but note to self - get to the pod more often! cheers, ian 2
