Sharky Posted July 6, 2015 Report Posted July 6, 2015 Give it a try , lots of washing liquid an a mate to push in on corners ! Just done mine got new seal set from east Kent trim suppliers + chrome inserts back an front , these were the pain to fit , good luck , cheers Rob

Ordered one for a 83 mk3 as I know the 84 was slightly different... I'll see if the rubber fits the screen when it arrives, then I'll know if it's the right one..
classicwhitey Posted July 6, 2015 Report Posted July 6, 2015 Id give martin a call at capri gear to make sure if i were you. Ive had a leaky screen for 3 years (not. A real prob as only really go out in dry) only just got round to sorting it.measure your screen top to bottom in the centre. Mine is 523mm which is the larger late spec. I have a 86 laser. The rubber also comes in two thickneses which is where mine is wrong. At the A post measure the thickness of the rubber. One is 30mm the other is 35mm thick. Ive orderd the thicker one now. I had the thiner one and it looked fine but leaked at the corners. Check it out ......
