escortvan1968 Posted August 14, 2015 Report Posted August 14, 2015 Hi Guys I have just joined so saying hello to you all. I have a 1968 escort van built here in sunny England. It was last on the road in 1974 since then, until last year she was stored in a garage and left. Its not been touched since I got my hands on her. Well the only thing that has got to her is the metal worm. I have built a spit and she is stripped down now sitting about 45 inch of the ground she's been on there for a week. I have started to remove the paint from her to revile how much metal I have to replace or how much the paint is holding together. Knowing my luck its more rust than metal. I do have more if you guys want to see. I'm sure I can work out how to put them on here of the different stage from then until now. In the mean time have fun.

I'm really gutted that the acid dipping went wrong and all the hassle he had with the first paint company. I have a few pictures of what's been done so far but it's slowly going at the min.

My van has been finished for about 31/2 years.
