Hi fellas,

Just thought I’d share my new ‘tina with you all, it’s a 1600E mk2 series 1 and I am in love! It’s a project for my father and I do over the winter and Sunday b-roads and beer in the summer, she is completely original the last owner bought her over from England to Ireland in the mid-90’s and decided to part ways at the ripe young age of 80, hopefully I will get my DSLR out get some decent pictures up (sorry for the crappy iphone ones!) but I hope you enjoy all the same. Cheers!  :cheers2:

Nice, is that a corsair in the back ground of one of the pic

good spotting there bud! the corsair in the back is a v4 68' model with front bench seat and column shift just got the banded rostyles for it, feels massive compared to the tiny Cortina

Nice looking tina, doesnt look like it needs much? What are you hoping to do to it? Welcome to osf

She is pretty tidy (luckily) apparently she was on the cover of Practical Classics in the 90's but need to try and dig a bit deeper into that, the head lining is pretty crap and white?? so will be replaced with black Alloys are pitting a bit but really thats it, just going to enjoy and hopefully others will too

Nice looking car. Always had a soft spot for the MK1 1600e. Had a 2000e corsair in the early 90s don't know if that's still around. All the best
