Russell Mc Posted February 6, 2016 Report Posted February 6, 2016 Isn't the XR2 manifold to suit DCNF carbs?
katana Posted February 6, 2016 Report Posted February 6, 2016 Isn't the XR2 manifold to suit DCNF carbs? And a CVH engine? which seems to have a manifold available. Can't think of a reason to use IDF's on a x-flow other than being different? Pinto - yes because it was part of Fords Group 1 pack. Apparently Burtons used to offer one - about 15 years ago but I guess not to popular?
Matty28i Posted February 27, 2016 Report Posted February 27, 2016 I've got some DCNF's as mentioned previously, complete set up manifold, carbs etc. Will take a few days to find, but all there. Will take some pictures to show what's required / to complete set up. 07906880280 Matty
mk2 mike Posted February 28, 2016 Report Posted February 28, 2016 There was one on a Retards Club site for sale a couple of days ago. I'll try and find the details.
spider Posted March 4, 2016 Author Report Posted March 4, 2016 Hi ,Thank you Matty for getting in touch,Will phone you to thank you .I have now managed to buy the weber Carbs and manifold that I required. The reason I went for this ste up was to keep the pedal box as original as well as the heater box.Saving buying the pedal box and drilling holes for the reservoirs has saved a lot of hassle .Being different is what its all about. Thanks for all your messages . Spider.
l j shaw Posted March 4, 2016 Report Posted March 4, 2016 Got IDFs on my supersport .....what a pain to set up ....but once I had it right it's been an absolute awesome set up well worth the effort
