Capsuleboy Posted February 6, 2016 Report Posted February 6, 2016 Attatched is a period shot of my late fathers 1965 Mark 1 Cortina 1200 delux, DHJ458C, I am the smallest scamp in the back seat aged 4. Where as I am a hopeless horder of classic tin, owning the best part of 200 cars over a 40 year period, dad only ever had 2 cars. This was bought new from Perrys in Southend, with its predecessor,a white 100E Pop traded against it. He lovingly looked after it until his passing 10 years latter, my brother then took it over, selling to a friend after a couple of years. I managed to track it down and buy it back in the 80's, but accepting that restoration was beyond me, sold it to a club member to rescue. Dvla tells me its been painted Orange, but was still on the road until a couple of years ago. I now have the resources to restore it and would love more anything to have it back, it feels like a lost family member. Any help much appreciated... 1

Veemax Posted July 1, 2016 Report Posted July 1, 2016 you need to contact the Mk1 cortina owners club as they have a pretty full list of who owns which cortina (cortina register) it used to be a chap called Marcel that kept the list up to date but not sure now Pete....
