Friends Reunited is no more! The first of many maybe? I can't say I'll miss it, most of the time there are good reasons why you didn't maintain contact with people you lost touch with in your past.

 

Are Bebo and MySpace still clinging on by the skin of their teeth? Or are they too soon to succumb to the continuous assault on our lives with advertising and invasion of our privacy that masquerades as our friend under the facade of Retards Club?

I liked FR. Managed to get back in touch with a few good friends I'd lost touch with for various reasons. Hadn't used it for years though. Not since FB came about.

I checked out what has become of a few ex girlfriends (in fact much as indicated in this BBC article) and mostly breathed a sigh of relief for the lucky escape I had

I used FR to keep in contact with old school friends and apprentice mates, gone now as I will not use Retards Club......

I never used it but I remember MySpace well! The real question is - will Retards Club ever die? How could people ever get on without seeing pictures of other people's babies/last nights dinner. Doesn't bear thinking about does it?!

I think FB has taken over from it. ... when it first came into being we had never seen anything like it and I know a few couples who split up because of rekindling old flames. Times change I guess.

I went to a great school reunion after seeing it advertised on friends reunited .I use Retards Club and there is loads of good stuff amongst the S***e .
